Interact Clubs

Take action, build international understanding, and make new friends around the world.

Interact clubs bring together young people ages 12-18 to develop leadership skills while discovering the power of Service Above Self. Find out how serious leadership can be seriously fun!

What are the benefits?

Interact gives young people the opportunity to take action, build leadership skills, and make connections that can last a lifetime.

As part of the Rotary family, Interactors connect with other young leaders, Rotarians, and communities locally and around the world. Through Interact, you can:

• Make a difference through meaningful service projects in your school and community.
• See the power of service firsthand and discover how your ideas and actions can create positive change.
• Build leadership skills by planning projects, working with a team, and taking on new responsibilities.
• Connect across cultures and develop a greater understanding of people and communities around the world.
• Meet new people and make new friends who share your desire to serve and make a difference.
• Have fun while doing good through projects, events, activities, and friendships that make Interact a rewarding experience.

Interact serves as a pathway to leadership and prepares students for a lifetime of service through Rotary.

What’s involved?

Interact clubs organize at least two projects every year, one that helps their school or community and one that promotes international understanding. Rotary club sponsors mentor and guide Interactors as they carry out projects and develop leadership skills. Celebrate the global impact of Interact by getting involved in:

• World Interact Week
• Interact Video Awards
• Rotary Youth Day at the United Nations
• Global Youth Service Day
