ROTARY LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE “RLI”
RLI is leadership development training that provides the foundation of what it means to be a Rotarian. It exposes members to the wide scope of Rotary around the world, as well as the leadership skills that are necessary to move it forward in our clubs.
The entire program consists of three separate all-day events - Part I, Part II, and Part III. Each event consists of six 50-minute sessions. The sessions are not lectures or PowerPoint presentations, but highly interactive discussion groups where the participants can expect to walk away with life-changing insight and ideas.
Attending RLI has several outcomes:
- It introduces the participants to the Rotary World outside their club.
- It builds an overall understanding of Rotary and The Rotary Foundation, and shows how their resources can be utilized to support their individual and club efforts.
- It helps the participants see themselves as leaders and how their unique skills and resources can be utilized to make the greatest impact.
- It affords the opportunity for both professional and leadership growth.
- It gives the participant the opportunity to interact and build relationships with other like-minded people from across our district.
- It enables the participants to see the power they have to impact their world and inspires them to take action and make it happen.
- It gives each individual a clear road map for building a successful Rotary club.
